Hi.
I'm tired from my outing. Yeah, some sort of a gamer's outing in Orchard.
Before I sleep, I'm gonna post my pre-April wallpaper! For fun.
Assassin's Creed is my new love. Gotta love that hood he's wearing. It's cool.
And some Call of Duty 4 multiplayer matches by some gamer enthusiast. He's got a pretty cool name too, BlameTruth.
Golden AK-47 (Damn, I want this camouflage so fucking badly)
MP5 Silenced (Typical set-up)
*He said that school isn't important! IT IS IMPORTANT!*
That's all for today.
Thanks for visiting and may God bless you.

Cross Country.
It's my final cross country race.. Well, it's alright. The tents definitely looked better than the past 2 years, although some people may beg to differ. We can't trade our number tags for 2 cups of Milo, oh my God, that is SAD! But, at least, we got NEWater and popsicles! Seriously, the popsicles were the bomb.
This had to be my best run ever. And a memorable one.
I hurt my leg, and both of my palms. I had two deep cuts on right palm, probably caused by a wandering stone and the left palm wasn't so serious. I had a cut on my left leg, which stings. I couldn't walk for a moment. But somehow, it gave me the drive to run faster! I have no idea why, but in the past, pain used to give strength to run. Pain like, cuts, bruises or headaches. Definitely not abrasion.
I was supposed to run with my friends.. But they were all too fast to catch up with. All I wanted was a slow jog to admire the Chinese Garden. In the end, I was running with Derrick, encouraging him to run and catch up. As usual, not all checkpoints are encouraging people. When I was Secondary 1, running in MacRitchie reservoir, the checkpoint ICs and cadets were enthusiastic and kept saying "Jiayou!". This year, it was so dull. They look at you, I look at them, yeah.
Nevertheless, it was still a fun jog, even though I ran alone. The prize giving ceremony was kinda long and boring. Probably because I can't hear shit from where I'm sitting. People around me were taking pictures or camwhoring. Sigh, I can see that those people were really good friends.
My class wasn't a whole. Some were at the back, at the left and front. It's like as if 5B didn't exist at all. I guess we are really an underrated class huh. I really envy 5A. They have teamwork, group photos to remember all the good times, good friends and so much more. They even cheer for their classmates when they receive their medals. I'm just envious, I hadn't got the courage to cheer because the people around me were feeling dull.
Went home after the school song had been sung.
That's it for today then.

Afterglow.
Afterglow by Danielle Zonghi
Afterglow . . . I'd like the memory of me to be a happy one. I'd like to leave an afterglow of smiles when life is done.
I paused as I read the prayer card to my younger sister.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, if happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
I paused once again, wiped her tears and comforted her with a hug.
I'd like the tears of those who grieve, to dry before the sun, of happy memories that I leave when life is done.
I hugged my sister once again and went to my room. I often sat alone thinking about what happened on that Christmas morning. It seemed like yesterday that we were a happy family of five. No sickness. No tears. My life seemed blurry, almost like it never happened. I tried not to think how my mom had woken me up to tell me that the man I sometimes hated, who had finally accepted our differences, whom I loved more than anything, had quietly passed that morning. I remember I didn't cry when she told me. I couldn't. I had cried for too many days. I just looked at my mom in shock as though she was telling me a lie right to my face. It couldn't be real, he wasn't supposed to die. He was supposed to get better.
I felt the tears building.
Why? He was young and had lots of life to live. I tried to forget these thoughts and look back. My mom always told me to remember the happy times that my father and I shared, but these memories were blocked, trapped in the depths of my mind, the thoughts of the past month holding them hostage. All I could think about was that night when we were sitting with him.
All of us - my mom, my two sisters, and I - sat there crying because my dad couldn't breathe and refused oxygen. I remember holding his hand and feeling him squeeze it while he struggled for each breath we thought could be his last. He'd look me in the eye and then roll his eyes back as if he couldn't take it anymore and just wanted us to let him go. The small dining room turned hospital room with all its medical supplies was hot, and all our faces were red from the tears.
I looked at my mom who had gotten up to grab the oxygen tank and put it on my gasping father. I remember her saying, "Fred, I know you don't want to die. We need you; we love you; spend one last day with us." She started crying as she attached the oxygen to his nose. I had stopped crying and just rubbed my father's hand. My sisters were sniffing and beginning to relax. The room went from a stuffy crying chaotic mess to an almost comfortable place. My sisters and I left as he finally was able to get his one lung working again. It was a constant battle for him; it had been two years since he had his right lung removed, and he had gotten used to it.
I shake my head as a tear falls. These thoughts give me the shivers. A year has passed since my father left his cancer-filled life and moved on to the peacefulness of heaven to look over our family. We still have those times where we look back and cry because we miss him. Today is September seventeenth, the day that he would have turned forty-eight. I try to push the good thoughts through, but I could still hear the horrible cough that filled our quiet house or the mumbles of my father who couldn't remember our names but was glad we were there to comfort him.
It is eerie remembering these events. I shake my head trying to forget, but it doesn't work. I close my eyes and sigh. I sit for a few minutes just thinking. I open my eyes and start reading those words that keep the memory of my father's spirit.
I'd like to leave an echo whispering softly down the ways, if happy times and laughing times and bright and sunny days.
These words make me remember. He would have said something like, "Your life will go on." It comforts me to think he was right. My life has gone on. I'm stronger now, and I have him to thank. I look at his picture on the nightstand, let out a sigh and smile. I walk out of my room full of thoughts of happy times and hard times, but I look at his picture, and I smile knowing his afterglow is with me in my heart, in my mind and in my soul.

A day gone wrong.
Sarcasm is the new sex. Kidding!
A day gone wrong is definitely the most suitable phrase for today.
Why? I have no idea. It seemed like everything around me took a turn and decided to bash me up. It's one of my saddest days, I guess. Firstly, the D&T file I brought to school, this morning, all my papers dropped. It was an embarrassing moment. It didn't even struck upon me that I'm holding my file inverted. Great.
Lastly, the seating arrangement. I don't know who tidied up the class. It ended up me taking another seat because my seat was taken! I have no bloody choice. It's not like I want to sit there or something. So as a result, I ended up taking a seat where I could talk to practically no one. GREAT. But heck, I might as well keep quiet. Look on the bright side. I could concentrate in class way better than before and there's a fan above me. I'm sorry for flaring up, Miss Pang. I admit that I was foolish and acted rashly in front of you. I did not ask for permission to change seats. I'm at fault. Forgive me if you can.
I seriously fucking think that something wrong is happening.

March Double Birthdays!
I have to admit.. I had a really fun holiday!
There were two birthday celebrations, one for Kenneth and one for Beng Shiang. Both were equally fun! Definitely one of the best weeks I ever had.
So.. Happy Belated Birthday to Kenneth and Happy Advanced Birthday to Beng Shiang!
For Kenneth's celebration..
Me, Hock Zheng, Chungaik, Mun Tat, Beng Shiang, Boon Keat, Kai Jie and birthday boy, Kenneth went to a Japanese restaurant in Cathay on Tuesday. Man, the food was scrumptious enough to keep me satisfied. Unexpectedly, I got full way too fast, even though I did not ate lunch. We ate a lot of varieties, from typical Sushi to Udon, Ebi and Sashimi. The ambience inside was pretty nice and comfy too! After all that, we attempted to take a group photo, but failed. See Chungaik's blog for more details!
Next, we went to Chinatown to play some LAN gaming. We played from 6pm to 10pm. It was really hardcore! Haha. First, we played Call of Duty 4 multiplayer, I got top for most matches! Next was CS 1.6, and Chungaik got top frags! DotA was next. I haven't played it for like.. 2 years? My skills are all rusty already. WAIT, I have no skills to begin with! LOL. Anyway, I got owned totally, needless to say. Boon Keat was the top fragger. He has some crazy shit up his sleeves, man. And me? While others are like Lv. 15 or 20, I'm only like 9? I sucked at it, but I felt like playing it..
Went home, tired and listless.
For Beng Shiang's celebration..
Met up with Chungaik, Hock Zheng, Boon Keat, Kai Jie, Jiemin and Shuting at Chinatown Point to have lunch. I did not eat because I wanted to order food at Settler's. After eating, we went to purchase Beng Shiang's birthday cake! It costs $35 (I think?) and looks pretty awesome. We went to Settler's after that.
*skips all the [outside Settler's café] stuff, lol*
I love the café. Really. So many games to play. The game we played the most was Halli Galli! It got me, Hock Zheng, Chungaik and Shuting playing for long durations! The others that did not play are either tired from pressing the bell (Lol) or no interest at all. I also liked the Shadow [Something] game which was like the miniature version of Magic: The Gathering. OH GOD, I missed those days when I played Magic: The Gathering with my old classmates in Secondary 1/2. Nostalgia INDEED.
AND! I need to praise Jiemin for being such a wonderful host for me, Hock Zheng, Chungaik, Boon Keat and Shuting. She worked her butt off to cater to our needs, gave us instructions on how to play that game when some of us aren't listening and bringing out the cake for Beng Shiang! You looked pretty tired around 9pm+ and did not play with us. I'm guessing you're tired? Part and parcel of the occupation I guess. WHATEVER IT IS, thank you again for being such a wonderful host! *applauds*
Beng Shiang got cake-mashed! MUAHAHA.
After clearing up, me, Beng Shiang, Kenneth and Mun Tat went to Raffle's Place MRT to head home. Walked quite long but the evening breeze was refreshing.
Had neck aches. No idea why.
WELL THAT'S ALL FOR TODAY.
I'm gonna start cleaning up my room and finish all remaining homework. Not gonna blog for the weekend.. so check for updates next week!
Till then..

Missing school already?
I think I'm starting to miss school already. I actually woke up at 4.30 am this morning, and ran 5 rounds in the jogging track!
I did most of my homework already. I haven't done the Maths online assessment in Acelearning.com. Mr Kung said that the homework will be there on Sunday. I checked it yesterday, but it wasn't there though. Unless he's doing Jobweek, I assumed he's in school, haha.
Hmm.. Jobweek.
Nobody came to my house. Boohoo. It seems that my home district is kinda unpopular huh! Last time, I used to do Jobweek at my district. I accumulated around $200 from 3 flats. Kinda little, still better than nothing. I might need to get that $50, for the sports hall and CCA crap, using this Jobweek method.. Haha.
Gonna be a busy week. Gonna finish the rest of the homework. Tomorrow is Kenneth's birthday, he invited most of my friends. Looking forward to it. This Thursday, I will be going to Settler's and celebrating Beng Shiang's advanced birthday as well. After all that, I'll go straight into pure gaming and end this week with a tired mind.
Well, that's all I have for today..
I'm BROKE!

Phew.
Firstly, I want to thank whoever placed my spectacles into Beng Shiang's table, it may seem as a prank though, but at least, that person prevented it from stolen. Considered it a prank turned into a good deed ;)
This is the last week of school before the March holidays. Other classes are having intensive lessons, CCA camps etc, during the holidays. It will be busy for me too, revising for the March common tests and spending more time with my friends.
Nowadays, I noticed more people switching into their emotional state. I have no idea why though and when I approach them, they gave me a stare which I didn't like at all. So much for being concerned. They probably need a counselor or a listening ear to listen to their troubles.
There's nothing much about today. I heard that our ACE camp was going to have that sand-castle building again. I have no problems with it.. But I feel we should explore new things. That way, we can expand our knowledge. Whatever it is, I'm looking forward to the ACE camp. Be it a day or overnight camp. Haha.
Anyway, to end this. A video. The original Resident Evil 4 before it was made into an action game.
It would be great if they released this instead of the current one. But I'm satisfied with the current one now. It almost looked like a Silent Hill clone. Paranormal studies and roaming spirits isn't Resident Evil's forte. It's more of infected people, due to a virus.
Well, that's all for today.

Grrr.
So late in the evening, yet there's hardly any people in 131. Weird huh. Went out with some of my Granado Espada guild members in Plaza Singapura. Yep, they are the loyal bunch of players!
Sorry for not updating for the past 5 days. The reason is below.
Argh. My internet is being a total ASS! I'm using Starhub Maxonline. The speed was alright from January 2009, until March came and the internet speed began to decrease dramatically. From a whooping 1MB/second (Downloading from Singapore servers) to a minuscule speed of 10+KB/second. I have no idea what's causing this problem.. But I hope Starhub would fix it. I've been a loyal customer for 3 years..
Anyway, my new wallpaper for March. A plain, dark wood grain. (Supposed to post it, but forgotten, 3 days delay lol)
Yeah, I was defragging that evening. Look how messed up my hard drive is.
And if only this was my internet speed, it would be totally epic.
4+MB/second!
4+MB/second!
Been watching lots of interior design shows lately. I was being impatient, haha. I'm really sick of studies.. Other than computer games, interior design is something I can get addicted to. You guys know the effects of computer games.. Haha. So it's the same for designing for me.
I made my most major mistake yet. I left my spectacles at school. YES. WTF.
I can't believe I left it at school. What if someone stole it? Somehow, I backtracked but too many events were taking place. I can't remember where I placed it. Man, these few days, I've been really forgetful and clumsy as well. It sucks, you know. I may need to eat more fish, to increase my brain power? Lol. Now, I really hope that it's not someone who stole my new pair of spectacles but me who totally forgotten about it and left it at school.
Speaking of spectacles..
I found my old pair in Miss Mah's chemistry lab. Boon Keat found his watch there too! Kinda like double happiness, haha! She said that her assistant was roaming around the school, and found those items. I guess Miss Mah's drawer serves as a lost and found center.
AND speaking of lost and found center..
WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT.. if the school implements a lost and found center? Probably some merit points as rewards for returning a lost item. It would serve as responsiblity and integrity for our core values. I did saw one back then, when I was in Secondary 1. The white board near the general office. Is it gone? Not too sure..
I've completed F.E.A.R 2 - Project Origin. This afternoon, I was searching for another horror game to dwell in. I found Silent Hill - Homecoming to be the next scary game that I would attempt to play. I watched the first few videos of Silent Hill.. It wasn't that scary yet. The environments were so damn bloody dark, that you can hardly see shit. The thing that scares me is the random noises surrounding the environment, yet you can't find the source of it.
In the first area of the game, I can hear a baby crying. I search into every door in the hospital, but to no avail. Unfortunately, I can't support the game well. It needs an nVidia 8800 GTX graphics card which is commonly used by the gamers of today. I met the minimum requirements though.. But wouldn't it be great to enjoy the game at it's best?
Just a video on the first gameplay. You can see that it's very dark. You can hardly see 5-6 feet away from you. The eerie noises and those random cliché pop-ups and scares. It isn't scary yet though, might be scarier in the later stages.

Untitled.
Aw, who broke it? ;(
Thanks for visiting and may God bless you.
Anyway, I finally got my spectacles made. I just received it today from my Godsister. She paid the full amount with her credit card! I wished I had one too.. Patience, patience, it's golden..
School was a bore. The main highlight was the assembly talk about pornography and cybersex. I'm glad I stopped watching it already, it kinda reminds me of someone.. So yeah. Although I'm still talking dirty, I really quited watching it. Up to my friends to believe me or not. I have to agree that old habits die hard.
If you never give someone a chance, he or she will never stand up.
I was chatting with an old friend from GESS 2B 2005, someone who got despised by almost everyone but still continued. He's in SP now, probably living a good life now. But.. He said something about his class. It's very united. He also asked.. whether my class is united or not.
I was thinking about it for a second. Finally, I said, "No".
Haha. What a tough question. My class has people hating on other people, and so on and on. Some people hate the other races. Hate this, hate that. So I concluded, unity is a no-no. Unless, there's a miracle, where 4D and 4E could unite. Seriously, that would be epic.
He has a total of 11 points, which is an awesome number. Congratulations dude.
And.. I've been getting 1 digit marks for my common tests.. What a pattern. Time to make a difference.
And a quiz I saw in Swee Hong's and Jiemin's blog. Interested, hah.

So cold.
Good evening. I was about to sleep already, but I just had to update. Haha.
I'm currently using Safari, a web-browser from Apple. Somehow, it's so much faster than Mozilla Firefox, which seems to be aging (Internet speed getting slower, lol). To add on, I also love the UI (User interface), a simple and smooth grey-ish window, with smooth fonts. The word is smooth. If you want to try it, here's the link. There are still some problems with it, like not being able to view the full link at the bottom of the window and not much customization. Still, it's good to have an alternative browser, right?
Mr Tan's lesson today was lively. I don't know why. But I kinda enjoyed it. The jokes will keep the class awake and attentive. It really works! Haha!
The rest of the day was just plain slacking. There isn't much to do during History and Social Studies. Mr Leong just played videos for us, since giving powerpoint lessons doesn't seem to interest the class at all.
After all that, I went to find Miss Pang because I was chosen for Heart2Heart. As expected, it was a hearty talk, but I noticed that I'm quite a long winded person. Haha, I think I'm annoying as well! But anyway, it's good to let out that bottle of frustrations or just some good news you wished to share. Went home at around 2pm.
Well, that's all for today.
Thanks for visiting and may God bless you.

Grace.
This morning, the clouds were graceful and breath-taking. I snapped a photo of it, so gosh, it looked perfect despite using a 2.0 Megapixel camera. Oh and I'm glad that someone too, share the same interest as me, admiring and adoring cloudy skies. Kudos.
Noticed the shape? It looks like a slanted Pac-Man! Nevertheless, it's pretty awesome.

Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my day. I have no problems with Mr Leong, although some people might disagree totally. No problems with Mr Kung, because he is always calm and friendly. Not D&T definitely, Mr Kwan is already the best there is. I'm only having problems with my English teacher, Mr Tan.
I agree that O Level English has much higher standards than N Level. I also agree that we must revise and revise, again and again. I had patience for him, until his lessons began to get boring and repetitive. He likes to go in-depth into every part of the English language, I have no problems with that. He should at least know that our vocabulary arsenal is lacking greatly, yet he used complicated synonyms and somehow assuming that we knew the meaning. And today at class, he gave out our English common test papers. I got 3/25 unfortunately.
I hate this part. Instead of going through the errors we committed and encourage us with amiable words, he kept saying how we did not study the pointers and answering notes that we copied during the English lectures. Really, he did not have to say, "You all" or words that refer to everyone. I STUDIED, GOODNESS GRACIOUS. It takes a while to get all that pointers and paraphrasing skills into our head you know.. And finally, he asked us to highlight words that we don't know and refer to a dictionary for the correct definition. He's gonna test us tomorrow, by picking random people and giving random questions. Man, I ***king hate those random games.
I memorized some definitions, and I have a gut feeling that he's gonna pick me somehow.
I really wish he would brighten up, smile more like the other teachers, make his lessons a lil interesting or add a lil humour (A joke or two wouldn't hurt right?). I don't like it when teachers get all over-sensitive like some lava fountain. This way, it's SO MUCH easier to interact and ask questions.
I went for the Physics AP for the first time. It sucks to have no one sitting next to you, makes me feel outcast, but whatever it is, it isn't my first anyway.
The skies suddenly turned grey-ish and loud claps of thunder came clashing around. It's DAMN LOUD, OKAY. I even heard that the Merlion got struck and it's being barricaded to prevent further damages.
Around late afternoon, went down to pass some keyboards and mouses to Chungaik. (It's good that he knew the way to my house, some people even upon multiple visits, still requires directions, lol)
And I can't login Live Messenger. No idea why. I did not even visit any harmful websites. Lmao.
Well, that's all for today.
Thanks for visiting and may God bless you.
Edit* For Chungaik.

March.
Well, it's March already. So much had happened in a mere month. It seems like it was just yesterday when school started after the holidays. O Levels seems to be drawing nearer and nearer, I feel quite uneasy. The past common tests were pretty much a goner. God.. I detest those after-school tests, cus' it made me a lil tired and thereafter, I couldn't concentrate. Yep, it happened for the Maths test, which I'm prolly gonna fail in.
Stressed? Maybe. The amount of white hairs I have is increasing. Some may say white hairs isn't related to stress at all. Who knows. As far as I know, it's called premature greying. I might need to head for the Yun Nam Hair Care Centre afterall. I heard that it's 3 months hair treatment, for a few hundreds. Time to save money..
My teeth too, looks ***ked up. Time to get braces.. Maybe during polytechnic years.
I was kinda bored yesterday, didn't want to play any games. So I roamed around the blogosphere to search for interesting blogs to read. I usually avoid Singlish (Or minimal) and twit-ish language blogs, cus' those are the little things that gradually destroys the blog's purpose. Oh, in my whole life, I had never seen a hand-written journal with Singlish before.. Sweet.
..and I wished I didn't. It worsen my mood. I wouldn't want to go in detail.
Life is so simple, yet they make it look complicated.
*sigh*
